Matron Mother Ki’Wilis Millithor (14th lvl Matron Mother Mid Rank)
Description
Matron Ki’Wilis Millithor is a cruel female with a savage glint in her extra-large eyes. She is alluring and youthful in appearance, though she is more than 600 years old. She is capable of presenting an extremely attractive and pleasant impression to those in her presence-she can turn this charm on and off at will, and it bears little relation to her actual feelings toward the target of her attention. Indeed, her ability to influence others borders on the supernatural.
Personality
Maron Millithor’s personality suits the occasion; pleasant or domineering, conciliatory or cruel as the situation demands. She is a splendid actress, but in situations of great stress she has been known to lose her temper.
Although she is as evil as necessary to survive in the dark elf world, the matron mother of House Millithor possesses an unusual level of neutral attitudes. She deplores bullying and brutality against subordinates as a counterproductive tactic. She prefers to foster loyalty and even a remote sense of affection rather than fear in those who serve her.
At heart though, she is a controlling autocrat and will brook no insolence or disobedience from the members of her house-any slight in this regard will earn the offender a full attack from her whip of fangs. Serious defiance has been met with an agonising death at the hands of summoned bebiliths.
Equipment
Her signature item is her four headed whip of fangs, which she uses for amusement as well as combat. She also owns an ancient family Driftdisc which she prizes greatly, conferring upon whoever sits on the driftdisc a constant protective effect as well as the ability to paralyse her enemies and the iconic web spell.

Narcelia Millithor, Eldest Daughter of House Millithor (11th lvl high priestess)
Physical Description: Narcelia is a remarkably somber-appearing drow, not prone to the cackling displays of vicious humor that characterize so many drow high priestesses. She is lithe and attractive, but tends to wear modest and unadorned garments that conceal her body and the back of her head. Her hair is exceptionally long, but she usually keeps it bound at the base of her neck.
Personality: Narcelia is careful and thoughtful far beyond the normal standards of the drow. She is considered by many to be a little slow--this is a mistake, however. In reality, she is a precise planner and although she takes her time to develop a plan, the plan is likely to have few flaws. She does not enjoy cruelty for cruelty's sake and even recognizes the value of kindness in earning the loyalty of underlings and allies.
Motivations: Narcelia is curious about the world beyond her city. She is very loyal to her mother, and intends to become the next matron mother of House Millithor, but not for a century or two. She is suspicious of the schemes of others, and carefully examines suggestions and directives, looking for weaknesses.

Carcelen Millithor, Second Daughter, (9th lvl Priestess)
Physical Description: Carcelen is the opposite of her serious and dignified older sister. The younger daughter of Millithor is humorous and social. A natural leader among females and attractive to males. Carcelen wears bright colored garments, often with patterns of faerie fire, silver, and platinum. Her clothes are not modest, but other drow will find them interesting. Her hair is very long and usually unkempt, swirling about her shoulders and back, hanging past her waist when unbound.
Personality: Carcelen is extraordinarily carefree for a drow. She delights in adventure and new experiences, and is curious to the point of rashness. Though she understands the treacherous nature of drow society, she herself tends to remain aloof from double-crosses and betrayals. She enjoys that stuff as much as the next drow, but its fine with her to observe the squabbles between other dark elves, rather than to try and create her own.
Motivation: For all her spontaneity, Carcelen is a loyal member of House Millithor. She is devoted to her mother and will not hesitate to follow the matron's instructions. She is courageous and steady in times of crisis, and willing to take great chances -- if the reward is worthwhile.

Amesril Millithor, Third Daughter (9th lvl Priestess)
Physical Description: Meaning ‘Beautiful Drow’, Amesril is aptly named. She has shining white hair and green eyes, and perfect, smooth ebony skin. She favours revealing clothing like most Drow. She dons armour that is especially form fitting.
Personality: Like her sister Carcelen she is a carefree drow at heart, but she can enter some black moods at times. It is a well known fact that most of Amesril’s surviving offspring have been male - and all are house sergeants. This grates at her intensely, since all her sisters have had daughters who follow the lofty path of a Priestess.
As a result, she has been known to mistreat her nieces out of spite. The matron tolerates her tantrums-even encourages them-as she feels her granddaughters need some toughening up.
She is not particularly friendly to her sisters either-she is, at heart, jealous of them for being favoured with female children. As a side effect of this, she is quite close with her brothers and often hangs out with them.
Motivation: Amesril desperately wants to have a daughter, and is known to use divinations to try and find out the future relating to this. Her own divinations seem to always give no result, so she has fallen back to asking the House Wizard or even independent mages around the city for auguries about her next child. She is also interested in finding out if magical potions and concoctions can help her give birth to a daughter.
Others shake their heads and whisper that she has fallen out of favour of the Goddess. But they only whisper...softly and out of ear’s reach.

Liredaer Millithor, Fourth Daughter (10th lvl priestess)
Physical Description: A beautiful but wicked looking Drow priestess, Liredaer is never without her signature smirk that tells you you are nothing but a worm in her presence. She wears her white-grey hair loose and her unusual golden-brown eyes seem to stare into your soul.
Personality: The youngest daughter is also the most vicious of the lot. She enjoys sowing terror among the junior members of the house, including servants, and has nothing but scorn for the males, using and discarding them as she pleases.
She has few friends in the household-in fact she prefers to spend her time in Arach-Tinilith, for she is terrified of her mother, and has tasted the painful bite of her mother’s lash on many occasions. The house collectively breathes a sigh of relief when she takes absence, only to cringe at her return.
Motivation: Liredaer is a very devout follower of the Spider Queen and seems to espouse Her beliefs with unusual fervour. She seems unconcerned about her House’s fortunes, preferring to dedicate herself wholly to the Goddess.

Dariel Kront'tane (Drow Elite Warrior CR5, MM)
Physical Description: Dariel is a thin, nervous drow. He survived his original house's slaughter (House Kront'Tane). Since he was a second generation noble, his survival was not relevant once the Matron Mother and her offspring had perished. He was granted the protection of House Millithor. Dariel dresses simply in unadorned black, except for the small silver pin in the shape of a dagger he wears on his collar. His hair is long, but he carefully binds it behind his head. He is tall enough that he almost appears gaunt.
Personality: Because of the disastorous fate of his original house, Dariel tends to be a worrier. He is cautious, suspicious, and meticulous. More than any of his family-mates, Dariel is careful to examine every side of a situation for potential traps and pitfalls. On the other hand, when a course of action has been determined, Dariel puts his energies behind it to the maximum of his abilities. This tenacity has drawn the admiration of the Matron Mother and assures that he will have a place in House Millithor for as long as he wants.
Motivation: Dariel is determined to do everything in his power to ensure the survival of House Millithor. In fact, so thoroughly has he been adopted that he places the house's survival above his own.

Ryldemin Gonn’al (Drow Veteran CR3)
Physical Description: Ryldemin is a dashing young drow with long silken white hair and piercing green eyes. His chiselled features and toned physique has been very popular around the city’s nobility, and matron Ki’willis soon took him under her wing less than two years ago.
Personality: Ryldemin is thoroughly Ki’willis plaything. He comes from a low ranking house and is enjoying the newfound influence that comes with his position as patron. However, he does not seem to have many useful talents apart from his skills in the bedroom. He is also not particularly bright, but he more than makes up for it with charm. At least, the matron seems very fond of him.
Motivation: Ryldemin is very young and he just wants to enjoy life and have fun. For the matron mother, he is a breath of fresh air-here is someone she can relax with-without having to worry too much about betrayal.
